PROCESSORS

What is a Processor?
A Processor is basically a CPU(Central Processing Unit) which carries out all the Processes of the device. It is a Small Chip and is designed in such a way that it remains cool and consumes less power for portable devices and more power for desktops. In short a processor is a machine that processes something. Before sharing more information about about Processors let us understand Cores.
What are Cores?
A core is a Computing unit of the CPU.It can run single or multiple programs according to the way in which they are designed. It maintains correct program registers and executes orders.
Different types of Processors:-
1-Single Core Processor:- A Single Core processor is a processor which can run only single process at a time.As time passed the trend of multi core processor emerged.
2-Multi Core Processor:- A Multi Core Processor has several Independent processors on a single chip.
3-Dual Core Processor:- As the name suggests a Dual Core Processor has a two independent units in a same chip, both the cores are linked together because of which they can perform twice as fast as a Single Core Processor.
4- Quad Core Processor:- A Quad Core Processor has a four independent cores in a single chip that processes and executes through CPU.
5-Hexa Core Processor:- A Hexa Core Processor is a Six Core Processor. It has a Six independent cores that processes and executes the commands through CPU.
6-Octa Core Processor:- Octa Core Processor is an Eight Core Processor. It has eight independent cores on a single chip that processes and executes the command through CPU.
7-Deca Core Processor:- A Deca Core Processor is a Ten Core Processor and has ten independent cores on a single chip that processes and executes the command through CPU. Currently MediaTek is the first mobile chip manufacturer to launch a Deca Core Processor.

(Note: From 3 to 7 all are Multi Core Processor)

What is a Clock Speed in terms of Processor?
In simple words a Clock Speed is a speed or a frequency at which your processor performs. The Clock Speed is usually measured in terms of MHz also known as Megahertz and GHz also known as Gigahertz.

Some famous processor manufacturers :-
1- Apple
2- Intel
3- Qualcomm
4- MediaTek
5- Samsung (Exynos)
6- AMD
7- Huawei (Kirin)
8-Nvidia
The list is long but I have written few of them.

Fuchsia OS: Will it replace Android?

The first Android Beta version was released in 2007 most of us didn't knew that in future it will overtak IOS at such a fast rate. At present 80% of the smartphones run on Android OS. When it comes to Laptops and Computers many people love using Windows and Mac OS on  these devices over Chrome OS. Because of this reason Google came up with the idea of Fuchsia OS.  Fuchsia OS will work on Smartphones and Computers. It will cover all devices like Computers, Laptos, Tablets, Smartphones and Televisions(maybe or may not be) . Basically Google is trying to build an Eco system of connected devices.  Fuchsia OS is a new operating system which is being developed by Google to get rid of the limitations of Android. At initial stages it will be developed for smartphones and will evolve further. Fuchsia OS is not like any other Operating system, it is a completely different OS. Fuchsia OS is not like Android and Chrome OS . It will not be based on Linux Kernel . The Home
