Asus Zenfone Max M2 Long Term Review with Giveaway update

Asus launched Zenfone Max M2 with Zenfone Max Pro M2 on December 2018. Zenfone Max M2 came out to be a surprise for everyone as nobody was expecting it to launch. Zenfone Max M2 is a low end smartphone which was launched to complete with the RealMe and Xiaomi's Redmi series which are dominating the low end smartphone market. Let us have a look at Zenfone Max M2.
Opening up the box you will see the box which contains paper work, Sim ejector pin and a TPU case after which you will see the smartphone itself, further you will find Micro USB cable and a 10W adapter. That's all for box contents.

The smartphone has a metal back and is very slim, it feels very good to hold in hand and is not heavy despite such a huge battery. There is a notch on the front. Zenfone Max M2 looks very good in terms of design.
Zenfone Max M2 comes with 6.26 inch HD+ Display which has a resolution of 1520x720p, it has a 2.5D glass with a brightness of upto 430 nits. The display is visible in outdoors as well. It has a screen to body ratio of 19:9 which is very good for its price. It accepts Dual nano sims and has a dedicated micro sd card slot which accepts memory card upto 2TB. It has Dual cameras on the back, the first sensor is of 13MP which has an aperture of f1.8 and has a 1.12 micron pixel size with 5p lens and the second sensor is of 2MP which is a depth sensor. The smartphone has a 8MP front camera which has an aperture of f2.0 and has a 1.12 micron pixel size. Both the front and back cameras have EIS and Portrait mode. There is an led flash on the front and back. It can record videos upto 4k. It clicks good pictures in good lighting conditions but pictures clicked in low lighting are bad. Portrait shots from front and back cameras are decent but it blurs the edges. Pictures shot from front camera are decent. EIS does not work while recording videos at 4k. Asus can improve it by pushing an OTA update. You can't complain much considering the price. There are two RAM and Storage options. The 3gb RAM variant comes with 32gb internal storage and the 4gb RAM variant comes with 64gb internal storage but storage won't be an issue as it supports memory card upto 2TB. Zenfone Max M2 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor which is an Octa core Processor clocked at 1.8ghz it can handle day to day tasks without any issues you can even play PUBG at Medium and smooth settings without lags. There are no overheating issues while playing games. Zenfone Max M2 comes with 4000mAh Battery, it takes around 2 hours to fully charge the phone and the battery life is just amazing. It can easily last one to one and a half days on a single charge. There is a notification led on the notch. It runs on pure stock android 8.1 out of the box with no bloatware. An Update to Android Pie has been promised, you can expect Pie Update within one month. You can unlock the smartphone using a fingerprint scanner and there is also an option of face unlock. Fingerprint unlock and Face unlock both work fine. There is no Gorilla glass protection so to be safe just apply a screen protector. 

It is available in two Colors Black and Blue. Few days back Asus OMG Sale was  there on Flipkart from 6th February to 9th February because of which Zenfone Max M2 was sold at less price.
