Nubia Red Magic Unboxing and Overview with Giveaway Updates


Nubia has recently launched Red Magic smartphone in India. Nubia is a sub-brand of Chinese smartphone manufacturer ZTE.
Opening up the box you will see the smartphone itself further there is a fast charging adapter, USB Type C cable, Sim ejector pin and quick start guide. The screen protector is preapplied.
The Red Magic is a gaming-centric smartphone. Nubia has launched the smartphone earlier this year in China. The Red Magic is undoubtedly one of the best gaming smartphone launched in India as there are very few smartphones that are made with a sole purpose of gaming. It has a Diamond cut design and has a very thin form factor giving you a good in hand feel. The design of The phone is very good.
The Red Magic is powered by Qualcomm's last years flagship processor that is Snapdragon 835. The processor has been over clocked by Nubia so that The Red Magic can provide you a good gaming experience. It comes with Adreno 540 GPU. It comes with 5.99inch display with a resolution of 2160x1080p which gives a pixel density of 402ppi, the screen to body ratio is 18:9, it is a TFT panel. Nubia Red Magic comes with 8gb RAM and 128gb Internal storage it is a UFS 2.1 storage which means good transfer speeds, there is no room for expansion meaning no memory card slot. It comes with 24MP single Rear camera with aperture of f1.7 the design of the camera  is very different its shape is like hexagon, the led flash is also in hexagon shape. The front camera is an 8MP shooter with an aperture of f2.0. It comes with 3800mAh Battery capacity with support for fast charging (5V at 2Amp) it can last you a full day in normal usage but under heavy usage you need to charge the phone twice. There is a fingerprint scanner on the back which is in hexagon shape. The Red Magic comes with Android Oreo 8.1 out of the box.
There is a Red button on the right side above Volume and Power button which will enable the Game Boost mode. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack on the top and USB type C port on the bottom. It supports Dual nano sims.
What is GameBoost Mode?
GameBoost Mode is a very useful feature that all smartphones should have, so what it does is that it turns off notifications from all apps and increases the frame rates to give you good gaming performance even in graphic intensive games. You can turn it On/Off by clicking the red button, the button also works while you are playing games. The Game Boost mode also locks the navigation buttons to avoid any accidental clicks. 

There is also a multi colored RGB LED Strip on the back. It gives upto 16 million color  combinations with four different lighting effects. The RGB LED Strip adds to the looks of the device. You can also customize the colors according to your liking, RGB light turns on while gaming, receiving notifications, calls, messages and playing music.
The Red Magic comes with a Diamond cut design on the back and also has four cooling ports which helps the Phone to remain cool. Among four only three are cooling ports and the one port is speaker. The Phone is not that heavy and neither it feels bulky unlike most of the gaming smartphones. It comes with almost stock version of Android and the overall experience is quite good as well although it is using last years flagship processor then also you will be able to play graphic intensive games without any stutters or lags. According to Nubia Officials they will provide few updates but not Android Updates.
